Alan Lewis, author of "I grew up on a farm", shares his book as parents and kids enjoy a lovely day on "Grandma's Lawn." Todd Eldred, owner of 3C Beef, Art Soons, and black dirt vegetable grower Jeff Bialas share farmer stories over a little BBQ. 	Apple recipe bake-off contest! Got an apple recipe you LOVE and are willing to share perhaps? Bring in your prepared creation and we'll sample it and Soons customers will vote for the best! If you win we'll supply with apples - how's six months worth sound? Plus you get lots of bragging rights too! Please bring in your dish either Sunday AM, or Friday or Saturday if it can keep for a day or two. Make sure your name and phone number are with it, and make sure your dish has a name too! This idea comes to us from one of our student staffers, Karyn, so I know she has to bring something in!	orchard walking tours
		Please note this is a walking tour - please wear sneakers or sturdy closed shoes... those allergic to bees should not participate, there will be bees active within the orchard! Depending on the number of people this tour will last from 30 to 45 minutes... you can always walk back to the store on your own if you need to leave early.
