Soons Farming Since 1910

Soons Orchards

At Soons Orchards you'll find fresh-picked apples, real apple cider, homegrown and local fruits and vegetables, delicious homemade pies and lots of special goodies like our own apple cider donuts, homemade fudge, homemade prepared foods and apple sauce, fresh-ground nut butters, jams and jellies, maple syrup, honey and more.

You'll also find a wonderful fall afternoon outing with apple picking and pumpkin picking (mid-Sept. into Oct.), and hay wagon rides to our pumpkin patch. Our pick your own apples and u-pick pumpkins are super fun for the whole family, and we're an easy drive from anywhere in the New York tri-state area. Warm up with some mulled hot cider during the winter months while ordering up a gourmet fruit basket or gift pack of apples for your out-of-town friends.

We're open year round, except for June and part of July. Once you try our apples you won't want anything but, because it's all about the apples at Soons - visit us and taste the difference!

Happy Spring!

We are busy pruning our apple trees before they wake up (peach trees we’ll do after bloom)! Art is in the shop repairing everything, including rebuilding our peach wagon from the ground up, and creating new things - we can’t wait to see the new “squash wagon”!

Daily hours are back to 9 to 6, right through May 31. Now’s the time to make freezer space and start freezing cider to hold you over during the summertime.

The Orchard Hill Cider Mill Tasting Room next door has re-opened with hours Thursday-Sunday, noon to 6, and Saturday til 9pm - join us for happy hour and try one of Donnan’s amazing cocktails! Wine, spirits and our hard cider all available for tasting.

We are keeping the store stocked with a variety of veggies and fruit (we still have 7 varieties of our apples), including citrus. All your favorite goodies like donuts and pies are here too -- pick up your favorite while enjoying a cup of hot spiced cider on us!

Hope to see you soon at Soons...
