Pick in the designated ready rows
Our orchard is easy to navigate and not so big that you can get lost!
Always pick what you can reach, do not shake or climb trees. Those caught doing damage will be asked to leave the orchard and no refunds will be given. Those caught stealing will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
We have smaller sized "dwarf" apple trees, so kids will have a great time picking their own apples
Pick by grasping the apple and gently twisting and bending at the stem.
Don't pull - you'll likely knock other apples to the ground. The best pickers don't knock any apples off the tree
Treat your apples like eggs - they bruise easily
Refrigerate them when you get home for the best crunch!
Respect your fellow pickers and our Orchard by picking with care
You can buy as many bags as you like, but cannot bring your own
Pricing is by the bag, $17 (peck) $26 1/2 bu
Cash only at U-Pick. For card purchases please come by the store first.
NO BAGS larger than a football are allowed into the orchard. Please plan accordingly.
Please note, we do not allow "pole pickers" - no exceptions
Wear sturdy shoes and consider pants, consider boots if it's wet
There is no designated picnic area, and facilities are limited
Dogs are allowed in the grassy parking area, but no pets are allowed in the Orchard. Of course dogs should be friendly and leashed, and you must clean up after your pet

Soons was an accidental discovery while taking a scenic drive. It has become one of our favorite places! Your cider is hands down the best we've ever tasted and those apple cider doughnuts, don't get me started! I'll wait on line forever for one. (And I did wait on a long line for some when I was pregnant.)

Food n drinks are delicious. I've been coming there for 13 years. Love this place. I live in Staten Island, NY… The drive is long but beautiful and I get to go to you guys.. Yummy food and amazing people.

Friendly staff, brilliant harvest of apples as nature allows, a delectable selection of local produce, preserved products, and baked goods at pretty reasonable prices given that it is a farm store. The cafe and wine/cider tasting room is cozy, but folks are very friendly. The outdoor beer garden with a grill and entertainment venue was brilliant in the Sunday sunshine. All in all, a fantastic experience and that's why we've been going to Soons for 10 years.
