What kind of a name is Soons?

 

Local, pasture-raised 3C Beef now

Founded in 2002 by Todd and Doreen Eldred, 3C Beef has about 25 to 30 mixed-breed Red Angus on 50 acres in Chester, New York. Their cattle are pasture-raised and primarily grass-fed, without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Their cuts are USDA-certified and they work personally with their butcher to assure the highest quality product.

·       Almost every cut can be requested; pre-order early for holiday orders.

·       The ground beef is 85-90% lean.

·       The cuts last six to 12 months in the freezer; please take care with the packaging to avoid breaking the seal.

·       You can thaw this meat in cold water in a half hour to hour, depending on the cut.

·       Once defrosted, use within TWO days. Don’t leave the meat in your refrigerator for longer than that!

  •  Grass-fed steaks cook nearly twice as quickly as grain-fed beef, so please be careful you don't overcook your 3C steaks!
